Welcome to our May Internet Income Ideas newsletter.

It's been a busy month online for me. The unthinkable happened - Shortal, the company hosting my main Good Ideas website announced they were closing down in just a few weeks. Panic! I managed to get my main pages off in time but I'd lost all the templates because they were created by them. It's handy using a web host who gives you tools for creating your site but if they go down you've lost your templates. Perhaps there's an argument here for using templates from elsewhere. You can either buy templates to create your web pages or get them free.

My site, www.good-ideas.biz is now back online but looks awful in its current state. I don't yet have the facility to work on it but I hope something will be sorted soon. I still have to sort out all those links to files formerly hosted on Shortal which now go nowhere ...

I decided to join the Online Business Alliance this month. With all that's been going on with my website I haven't had chance to do much with it yet but it looks interesting. Their forum brought a really quick response to my queries - something which doesn't happen in all forums.
